How do you put html code in board posts, notes etc?

The following guidelines were originally produced by Wraith and posted in a
message on the boards.

The guidelines are merely that, guidelines, designed to assist those with
knowledge of html wishing to improve their messages and posts here on the zone.
They are never required, and, in fact, most Zoners get along fine without using
html code at all.

i've heard of the escape characters when looking at the source of a page, but i'd since forgotten them. thanks.

Interesting. I remember when you had to use codes for making line breaks and paragraph breaks. We no longer have to do that on here as just hitting enter once makes a line break and twice for a paragraph break. I will probably never use the other HTML codes listed, but thanks anyway Bob.
